Acupuncture With Nikki

Acupuncture is an effective medical treatment that has been used to alleviate and prevent illnesses for over three thousand years. Our practitioners are licensed acupuncturists who can effectively address a wide range of acute or chronic conditions and promote overall well-being.

Cupping

A therapy in which heated glass cups are applied to the skin at certain points on the body, creating suction as a way of stimulating the flow of blood. The flow of blood can help overworked areas of the body, reducing muscle tension, and soreness.

30 min Community style acupuncture

This is an express acupuncture treatment in a community area. You will be surrounded by other people quietly receiving treatment at the same time. Our practitioners use points on the scalp, elbows down, knees down, and head to treat the entire body, so there’s no need to undress – just remove your shoes and roll up your pants and sleeves. Kerry Gilbert

Meet our Women’s health and Pediatrics Practitioner, Kerry!

Kerry received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry minor from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2010. She completed her Master of Acupuncture degree in August 2020 and her Doctor of Chinese Medicine degree in December 2020. She has special interests in Women’s health, reproductive health and fertility, and sports medicine.

In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling with friends, cooking, paddle boarding and exploring MN with her yellow lab, Chloe.

Nikki is the owner of EastWest Acupuncture and official Acupuncturist of the Minnesota Twins Baseball team. Nikki is paving the way for the collaboration of Eastern and Western medicine. Nikki’s 14 years of clinical experience of implementing Whole Body Health has improved the quality of patients lives through Chinese Medicine.

In addition to her training and education at Northwestern Health Science University, Nikki studied at Tianjin Medical University, a top-ranked medical college, in Tianjin China. She completed intensive training in the areas of acute and chronic pain and neurological conditions such as headaches, migraines, neuropathy and stroke recovery.
